Very cool, what did you do at the first stage, is that just a boost of saturation or something else?

Gerafix Sep 21, 2007 4:19 AM

levels, contrast, shadow/highlight, curves, and smart sharpen, raw one was definitely nothing to write home about heh

Cool.... and in a word NO.... in another word FLAT!! But the final result more than makes up for what came out of the camera.

That much work goes into converting from color to B/W? Wow. I thought the camera could do it. I'm liking the finale though. Kyle

for the effect I wanted, yes, and thank you. yes I'm sure one could set a custom w/b or something in b/w mode, but I feel more comfortable in post-process, and I can play with certain settings I like best without wasting battery life, etc. I am curious to know, how many people set up the shot in b/w in camera vs. do the b/w work in pp?
