This is my first time posting and took a number of light pictures tonight at Upper Canada Village Christmas light displays. This shot was an interesting one with lights actually buried in the snow. Any comments welcome as I'm a novice at this. I have a FZ-18 and photo was taken at ISO 200 , f3.2 for 1.3 sec.

well done, Gbower!
I like your photo it have Xmas feeling for me, and I really miss the snow from your picture.

The only suggestion would be about background with the house lights I believe it drags too much attention to itself. Since it's hard to blur background, but with your camera having powerful 18x zoom you may try use telephoto end of your lens to get shallower DOF and limit background visibility.
Also I'm not sure if it would work but if I would taking this shot, I'd try to come closer to fence and place camera almost parallel to it, this way house from background would disappear and maybe effect of the picture would be more striking.

But overall photo is good IMHO.
