Well Norfolk Boy, I feel free to comment that that is a pretty nice shot. Love the texture on those rocks and black & white doesnt reduce the impact at all.

.....However, looked a little flat to me so I did a little curves and dodge job at the PS. Hope you don't mind ; )

Bahadir, there is less detail in the shadows than I like. But I do like the crispness to the shot you have done. There should be a compromise. Of course Im going by the touch on my screen because Im blind as a bat.

I liked the dramatic feel of the rocky shore in BW, so I might have been skingy lightwise:-)Having appreciated your take also, I rendered somelight, ah... more light!

Hello all

Norfolk boy, I like your photo... the patterns in that large rock are very captivating! A very appropriate b&w in my humble opinion (imho).

Not wanting to "split hairs" neither "split friendships", but I think the work both Bynx and Bahadir have done are very good... however I think for me the most natural looking edit is Bynx's... as it retains good details in the shadows.

I respect both Bahadir and Bynx's amazing editing / post processing abilities, and teamed with great photos like Norfolk boys (or theirs!) we all enjoy the outcomes.

Well done "team"!

Paul
