This was more difficult than it seems. I used a whole book of matches and got about 2 useable shots out of it.

I thought it looked familar too. Thanks for the reminder Bahadir.
By the way, I dedicate this photo to the one here who inspired me to play with smoke. I just wish I could remember who it was.

Bynx,

Great shot! You're an inspiration for many good ideas.

Bahadir, you did well in remembering... Mission Impossible, and reminding us. Straight away I thought..."now where's that from"... (knowing it was from a movie)... and before I had too long to think about it, read your post!

Love the interesting "round" look of the flame, Bynx. And the smoke is way too!! Well done.

Paul

Bynx,
I am always amazed at how you can take the most mundane things (drops, clouds, matches, etc) and create the most beautiful and amazing pics. Your photos are an appreciation of the fact that there is beauty in all things, if one only has the wisdom to see it.

Thanks for those kind words Robleemom. But to day I walked for 4 hours in the wood beside a big creek. I couldnt find anything to shoot. It was all so dismal and boring. But I wont give up.
