St David's Church, LlanddewSt David's at Llanddew, a few miles north of Brecon, is the oldest church in the county of Brecknock. The building dates from the 13th Century and is in a cruciform shape, with a central tower. Llanddew was a 'clas' church - a mother church with monastic buildings. A community of canons lived there, and travelled around the local area preaching and celebrating communion under a cross in the open air.

Great shot Alex. Can you get inside for interiors as well? Im shooting churches now. Ive finished 2 and in the middle of 2 others. Only thing is they arent very old. But they look nice.

Alex,

This shot is amazing. I am very impressed with the composition and the texture that shoots out. One piece that I thought was very well done was the clouds in the sky. I didn't know at first if that was real or artwork, but know that you did an awesome job capturing everything in a crisp manner.

I wish we had old churches like that around here.

Very dramatic picture, the sky really adds to the overall feeling of wrath of God coming down.
