This is an AWESOME flower shot. The best one I've seen in quite a while. I love it.

The colours are fantastically vivid without being too hot or bright. And the various colours (within the flower as well as in the blue sky and green grass background) all add taste.

Sometimes too much colour can be too distractive, but in my opinion all these strong colours blend so well together in this composition.

I love the composition too, angle of the flower and it's interesting aluring "centrepiece" really draws the eye in! Well done.

I'm curious: What settings did you use for this photo? No info in exif. Looks like your new Sony Camera is working well with you.
