This was taken with a sigma 70-300 APO on my XTi, then edited using Lightroom.

Took a while to time it right to get a decent shot but I liked this one. Please leave C+C, always appreciated.

The image isn't very sharp. Perhaps try reshooting with a faster shutter? More light if necessary.

Very nice shot though. The timing is incredibly tricky for splashes.

I agree, this is a good start but needs the motion to be frozen. Sometimes having motion blur works, but I don't think so in this kind of shot. The last time I did anything with capturing water drops/splashes I got as much light into my kitchen as possible which included directing all of my ceiling spot lights to one point and bringing in some extra free standing lights (warning, don't mix water and electricity!!)

Looking forward to seeing the next results.
