I bought a bag of stones and shot Yoda on my bird feeder. Just an exercise in light and the textures of bark, plastic and stones.

Nice image indeed! It is such useful experiments, after all,at the end of whichonecan hopefully say 'lesson learned'!

I'd suggest you send a bit more light from sideways (@PS) to further emphasize the texture (oh, without blowing out the highlights, of course!, which I believe, you canhandle ; ) Besides, you might crop off a bit from the top and allow a bit more eye pleasing stony foreground

Insteresting how you were able to get all three textures to blend so well together. Usually different textures tend to stand out from each other, sort of like wearing striped pants with a poke-a-dot shirt.:G
