An old part of town over on the mainland, dating back into the 1800's

How did I do with framing and cheating?

This is an interesting idea. I can see what you did but it would have more meaning if the reflection in color was something recognizable as from the 21st century while the black and white area was from the 1800s.

I think you have a novel idea, but one hard to capture without having the ability to stage, or searching for the all right elements.

As you can see in the reflection, a car, as well as the old gas lamps.

I'll try some more with another shot I took....check back :lol:

It wouldnt be so hard really. A reflection is pretty easy to drop onto a window. The reflection could be a modern building with a new car out front. That reflected onto the windows of the 1800s building would make an interesting composition.
