@ Alex

I have always admired your putting your opinionstruely, my friend!Glad to hear that the HDR which you found 'not overdone' has worked for you! Actually, I could have returned there a few hours later to exploit the evening sun or even pay a visit early in the morning on my way back, which would be more funregarding also the strongsummer sun melting the sky above me!However, I was on my way to a relative's weddingandreturned home the very night...

As for your B&W versions, I have always found them inspiring and motivating and this one is no exception! I'd like to know if you left some highlights, for examle the vertical rectangular marble block to the center, white..for some hi-key effect.

Btw, here I'd like to thankto those who took the trouble of displaying the way they'd like to seethe sights I capturedeither verbally orvisually: )

Hi bahadir, I thought it might make people look at the center of the photo, then use there eyes to look around it. Its just me, I like trying anything in b/w, specialy a good photo like this.

Yea I thought it was done on purpose similartosth whatyou explained above andalso believed that the B&W conversion would lose a lot without it! Btw, I should alsoconvey thatmy daughter who says she does not likeanything easily, has just admited thatshe really liked your version : )
