I like the composition very much.

But I don't like the haze. I don't think it adds much and it's very distracting. There are times when mist can be a positive, but this looks more like haze and to me at least it's distracting.

I really pumped up the contrast, saturation, color and everything but the kitchen sink.

I like the original. The early morning softnes, the composition...all in all a very appealing picture.

I love the first one also. The haziness does give the feel of early morning...both pictures are beautiful!

Nice shot.

Some ways to improve it might be not getting the leaves in the foreground.
The saturation also looks a little bit high to me.

I admit over doing it but I was just pointing out how far you can go with what you have. Im sure you can get better than the original and my version. Anywhere in between.

Fantastic shot. Having just travelled through Indonesia I know the difficulty of getting haze free photos! Re your pic, i would have loved to see the whole of the big tree on the left, but i know doing that would mess with the rest of the composition. Secondly, after a close look, i really like the little hut under the big tree. A portrait of the tree, the hut and the reflections would also have made a nice pic.
