don't think I can do much else, I'm still trying to deal with my confusion over COI Vs contrast Vs light and composition on my own portraits, Donna's are always way ahead of anything I can do.
LOL! I like you, Julie. No one here is way ahead of anyone. We all have different styles and different preferences.

This is a good topic though so maybe we should dedicate a new thread to the subject and leave out the critique stuff.

Hang around for a while, Donna. I'll have you making money to support your nasty habit in no time. :-)

Where are you located? You can message me privately if you rather not share it here.

Excellent shot Donna. The lighting is right on. You seem to have followed all these rules I keep hearing about. Your original shot has a warmth to the picture which is lost with the cropped whitened version. Although I agree with the crop.
Ok I thought I would be egotistical enough to try to improve on a great shot. I like the warmth Ive gotten and went the opposite way from white to black vignette. Cropping is still possible, however, I hate cropping unless absolutely necessary to get rid of something really out of place. Ok now Im including a cropped version as well.
