cant work out which way to go with this shot. originally I liked the window behind her but now Im not sure



I really don't know if taking the window out is a worthwhile thing to do

The first edit is my favorite. I wish the entire background was bright though. It has a lot of impact though.

I was going to say the same! I like the window and the crop on the first photo.

Close cropping hair is a very tricky proposition to make it look GOOD. Your attempts at that alone spoils the second and third versions to me. But your first shot is just incredible.

Changing the background color of the first image as done in the second edit will be an improvement, but I like the highlights around the head from the windows and it does give the image some impact. You'll see a similar example in my educational thread.
