Nice job on that last photo. Now can we discuss framing? When a shot is close cropped like this how should it be framed? Woud you use a large matte or no matte but a nice frame? If its a tight crop do you use a large matte for breathing or not?

I frame all my portraits with a matte.

I'm struck by thelook, JulieThe rotation and cropping improvement started by Art seems to have been matured here! IMO,a tighter cropping from the topmight lead the eye to complete the forehead in an unpleasant way, and thelonger neck you letallowed in that final version hasserved well to the elegance of the subject!
