Weather didn't really cooperate for a drive into the country today - very cloudy and grey. Anyway thought this shot was interesting. What do you think?

Hi John,

Something a little different from you so always good to see. I personally don't think the bush on the left is adding anything, rather it takes away from the nice clean lines of the fence. I wouldn't want to use the crop below as I would want a total re-frame but it gives the idea.

I do like how it leads you into the shot so a very good idea and with a little modification will be great. The only other thing is the sky being a little washed out so some HDR would really lift this too.

Hey John, Nice shot. Too bad the sky was not more cooperative:angry:. I found the stump in the forground to be a bit distracting. Hope you don't mind but i did a slight crop.

My wife had an idea to help the sky. She added a ND filter effect in photoshop. It seems to have brought out a few sky details.John, hope you don't mind.

Mark, hope you did not have the same idea this time:blah:

The edit takes care of what has been already mentioned or pointed out.

Great edit and the shot works well for me. Shots like these I crouch down to a squat to get a different perspective.

Mahalo,

Tom

Nice shot and that last edit with the clouds really stands out well.
