The picture surelytouched me,remindingthe effect in one'ssoulby thesmell of one's baby...

That'a very'essential' image which requires no colour, imo, except for a an adjustment of lightingemphasizing the'central' relationthere even more asmuch aspossible. I also cropped slightly from the bottom.Hope my sketchy take makes some sense since I actually liked touching thepicture somehow..

I don't know that a B&W conversion on what is essentially a monochrome image, really added anything, but the other changes bahadir performed are definately an improvement.

I think the BW did wonders!

Before my focus ran all over the frame, with bahadir's re-work, I find the scene inviting now.

Thank youfriends : )My intention, aside from arranging the lighting, wasn't actually 'to add' anything but rather to simplify and simplify, even by depriving the image from its only colour, whichI found to be extra andmight serve,at least, distracting (if that's the phrase), for some observers!

Bahadir, I really understand what you were going for there. I agree the color doesn't need to be in the shot to make it good, which is a good sign of a photo. If you can get the same 'emotion' from the color and b/w, it is a good photo.

I do like the color and b/w equally. I just get a feeling though there's something missing... can't quite place my finger on the composition and what I am feeling is missing in it.

The lighting of the photo is really nice... I am taking is natural lighting in the background from a window?
