There's nothing better than a moment's breaking of clouds on a cast day, I suppose!

Nice shot, breaks the rule of clutter. Keeps the viewers eye moving around, looking into every little space to see what is happening.

Sometimes ya gotta break the rules to get a good shot. The sky is very interesting and makes a nice back drop for the picture.

Thank you so much for letting me know about your insightful assessment. Regarding the background I've learnt not to leave the camera at home because it is cloudy : ) As for the rules; mostly I'm a 'good boy':-)but...I also believethat there are various ways ofattaininga'composition',so I'd simply welcome any!

Wonderful, bahadir. I hope I can do half as well when I go on holiday to Scotland shortly, where I love the fishing ports. My shutter finger will be a lot colder than yours, though. I'll hope for a few sunny periods, too.

As you say, "organised chaos", I think, rather than "clutter" !
