Default Variations of the Seattle Space Needle

I know we're suppose to only use on photo, but I wanted to know the best one of these 4 Variations of the Seattle Space Needle and why you chose it.

On three of them, it was overcast, then on one it was clearing up. It kind of changed the look.

I vote number 2 because I like how the leaves cup the needle

Default Needle

Jack.....
For me it's #1 or #2....The framing with the leaves in #2 is good but I love the color contrast with the blue sky in #1...You only get a few blue sky days in Seattle anyway, why not show it...Great shots....

Jack, I agree with John on #2 because of the framing, which easily leads the eye to the target. I agree they are all good, though, but that would be my preference.. Robert

This one I like over the others...For me, everything seems to work together...I would play with the saturation and or contrast a bit to see if you could get the Needle out of that little bit of hazy look...I like this one Jack...

Thanks for the compliment. Wouldn't that bit of haze be from the Needle being about 15 blocks from the monorail and the mild Seattle smog? The monorail was just leaving Westlake Mall. I was using the full zoom at 300mm

Here is yet another view of the space needle

Of the original 4 I like 2 the best. I like how the leaves and EMP frame the needle.

Of all of them, I like the skyline one the best.

Were these all shot with the P90?

No, the Pentax K10d.
I have some that I did with the P90 that I'll post later in the Nikon post I have running, then you can compare.

Another great shot Jack....I got one similar the last time I was in Seattle...Except Rainier wasn't visible...You could be the unofficial chamber of commerce guy....hahahaha
