Default A new musician?

Last night at the county fair, the local community symphony sponsored a booth that encouraged non-musicians to stop by and pick up an instrument.

I know neither of the people in this photo, but the setting seemed too good to pass up. So I shot these 2 photos.

C&C are welcomed.

Faithfully Yours.

I'm commenting only to get a "bump" on this photo, in hopes that it'll be seen again.

Difficult to ignore such a setting, actually
I should say, the first picture appeals to me more. I find the instructor in white a bit much distructing and obstructing especially in the second picture, in which I also don't find the way the musical instrument above intersecting her head quite complimenting. The emphasize should be more on the concentration of the little musician, imo, which requires some cropping off, clonning out, blurring, lighting and exposure arrangements through @ PS on each of these images, especially the second one.
Ah, reminded of my daughter's cello lessons, btw : )
