Default The organist

I took this earlier in the week during a concert at my church. The church was pretty well lit. But I turned off the flash and started experimenting. I keep expecting to hear some haunting, spooky music after looking at it.

Nice shot as is - for fun

try cropping - take half of the head and corner of shoulder with 3/4 of music showing and some organ above the music... make the sheet music 2/3 dominant in the crop mostly bottom right and make sure to get/keep glasses in the upper left 2/3 zone.

mostly I am following the rule of thirds in case it doesn't make sense.

play with contrast and darken the head and shoulder some and make the glasses stand out?

just some ideas.

Great image. The light, the glasses, the hand...
Cropping and playing around with gamma, contrast, etc. can give you a lot of narrative "situations". For instance, giving relevance to the score:
