Default Quiet nightfall at Stokken island, Norway.

Hello again.

Been rather busy lately, but managed to get away (mostly late in the evening and very early in the morning) to do some photography, or should I rather say 'taking pictures' as Photography sound so serious and difficult to achive.

Anyway, a few days ago I sensed that it would be one of those mellow evenings with this fantastic soft light, grabbed my camera and tripod and went off to catch some late afternoon- / early evening-expressions.

I like those soft minutes when everything looks like something out of a fairytale.

To start with ther was this couple of white swans quietly swimming around just in the foreground by those two black rocks to the right in the picture. By the time I set up my tripod and camera, they were gone...

Have a nice day, everyone and take care!

Love this shot. I moved the balance a little.

Wonderful shot - I prefer Walters version. Excellent. Yeah, makes me want to sit on one of those rocks and do nothing.

Borthar - yes, your balanced version is lighter and reveals more detail, in this respect its good. But at the same time it looses IMO some of the 'mystery' that this picture is suppose to express. After all, the picture was taken after the sun went down, so it has to be more of a night-shot than a bright dayshot.

But thanks for the interesting example. I'v downloaded it for my archive!
