Default Just moving

I took for my next session at a club where the subject is movement. Yes the boat is still but is reflected in the "just" moving water!

A different approach to a very well known subject. A winner for me.

A nice composed picture, can't tell which version is best. The one on my left CRT monitor or the one on my right LCD monitor. The picture when viewed on the CRT has a darker overall look and on the LCD it is a much brighter lighter look and feel. Yes, my work monitors need help but I'm not allowed to calibrate the monitors. At least I get to see two different versions of each picture posted.

Every pic posted should be as large as possible or as small as needs be so everything fits on the screen without having to scroll up and down to see it all. Your shot is best seen in its entirety before it can be fully appreciated. Really interesting reflection.

Thank you for your comments.

Here is the original, plus one taken a minute later. I now prefer the first with the tight crop showing only the boat's hull with the red structure just above. What do you think? and what is the the red structure called?

Bynx taken note of your post; this should fit in screen.

This is what I mean by a tight crop.

The red rim around the ship is called the gunwale. Called that because they used to rest their guns there when firing on other ships etc. None of your shots show the entire boat and reflection, but of the three I too prefer your last shot. But a slight zoom out of the first shot might be the one Id prefer.

I like number 2 best out of the three shots. Hard to take a picture that pleases everyone.

Bynx - thank you for gunwale.

I have now printed the third shot i.e. tight crop at the gunwale as A3. Now hanging on my wall.

Will submit submit the other to the club as "movement" because I think it has more movement in the mast :-)
