Default Hows this for a newbie

Any advice would be nice on the photo itself or if it needs to be touched up etc.

I really like this and it shows that a landscape can be shot with a long lens. I would like to have seen the bird sharper as it is not in the focal plane of the shot but still it is a nice result.

I think a little more of the boat would help, but the hint of it is just enough.

The bird was an extra,i mean when i decided to hit the button it flew into my shot.

I like it! Nice contrasts in the depth of field, you got your horizons straight...great photo!

very nice start.

showing more of the boat, to make it a focus in the photo would be nice. then let that gravel path lead into it, so maybe a bit higher perspective to do this. also, try using a smaller aperture (larger number, i.e. f16) to get more of the scene in focus.

I agree with the above comments. A very good attemt but a little more of the boat would have made this one a winner!!
