Default How to improve a snow picture

Should the red of the chimney be made more prominent?

And is there any way to improve the sky? If it's enlarged any more you see lots of artifacts. I've tried all sorts of things, but so far, nothing's worked. I guess there might have been fewer if I'd kept the original image which was in a considerably bigger file.

Any other ideas to make the picture better?

OOPS again. I did what Walter suggested, too. So I'm trying this -

This is what I got out of it.
I used levels and got rid of some cables that was too distracting IMO. Hope this helps.

In levels I just used the eye-drops for each WB setting, marking what should have been black/white and gray.

I think this would make a nice Christmas card.

I've lived with those wires for so long that I guess I got used to them so removing them didn't even occur to me.. All the suggestions are improvements - thanks.

I may well turn it into a wireless Christmas card. If anybody else wants to use it that way please feel free to do it.
