Default Transition - day and night

As much joy it gives me to watch the transition between day and night - or night and day for that matter - as much difficulty it presents in taking a picture, showing these often tender moments of change. I try and try again, but feel short-comings every time...

When the street-lights are turned on, the evening-sky turns from turquise-blue to grey'ish-blue loosing it's attraction. At the same time, shadows don't exist on their own anymore, they close ranks and grow together, being one big mysterious-looking dark mass underneath bushes and trees.

The mystery of evening is approaching...

I see now that I should have picked up that white pice of paper on the ground...

God dag Walter, hvordan har du det?
The piece of paper is not a problem, but the two cars headlights are causing havoc in the distance. Also an evening shot should look more like evening than the mid afternoon.

That's exacly what I ment when I wrote: "showing these often tender moments of change. I try and try again, but feel short-comings every time..."

Trouble is:
- If I post it the way I did - you and everybody else says: " its not an evening-picture!"

- If I darken it the way you did - everybody-else (except you, of course) are going to say: "No, no! Its too dark, all the details are gone..."

See what I mean?
