Default Autumn spirits

Here is my try to make tryptic with autumn theme

As it is, to me, it looks like three separate shots. I switched the outside ones and now, to me, it looks like a large single scene. Does it to you?

I like yours version, but I’ve found some info about triptych here:

It is some kind of tutorial, and it says that in triptych if possible movement direction should be inwards rather than outwards. So i do not know is it 100% true. I just did as it says. May be you have some more info or links about triptych?

Oh, to me the outside pics have the weight on the outside edges more than in the middle so I thought they made good framing edges. I wasnt really concerned with the direction of the road. Well I guess if someone wrote a rule about this then lets follow the rule.

I like both versions; first one looks like two roads both leading to the same place in life. While the second version gives the feel of two roads going off in different paths of life.
As for rules they are like the roads in your pictures and are meant to be bent.

Yes I agree sometimes rules are made just to be broken, especialy in photography
