Your shot for the sun was waaaaaaaay over exposed. Somewhere in the range of where the sun is a clear round ball would be the exposure.

A great photo and well executed.

Male or female? The Egyptians called Ra the sun god, and Ra was a guy, I believe. The Greeks believed the sun was Apollo, riding his golden chariot across the sky. So it's a "He".
