Default First images from my Pentax K7

I'm nw to DSLR's this K7 is my first. These are images from my first days out.

Tony, if you could, please reduce to just a single image per post for critique (those are the new guidelines we're trying to move towards) and take a read on how to imbed photo (vs just using a link - you'll get more views if people don't have to click on a link). If you wish, there's no reason you can't open a new thread for each image you want critiqued.

First I want to say about the guidelines didn't realize there were any. I'll follow them from now on. As for my setup pretty basic both lenses are of the kit varity. I used the kit 18-55 mm da, and the 55-300mm DA.

Sure looks like you had fun at the zoo with the new camera. The way I look at it (as far as what to post where) - I use this section for asking for help about a specific picture. Then, when I want to show a series or a photo-story, I'll post them under the main Pentax dSLR section (we all love series like this) or in the topic specific category. Isn't the 55-300 a nice lens?

Yes, I think for the money it's an excellent lens. Very good detail, and superb color rendition, makes this lens a real deal. To bad it's not weather resistant.
