Default Leaves

All views welcomed. I liked the texture in the leaves and was was going to move them on to a different background, but I was about to lose the sunlight so grabbed this one.

The texture of the leaf and the wood is nice. Good focus. But I think there are either not enough leaves or too many. It should be a story of one leaf on the wood or a whole bunch of leaves on the wood. Some sort of composition is needed. No one leaf is complete and Im not sure what exactly Im supposed to be looking at.

Good composition, colors and detail. The back leaf in the upper center doesn't look quite a sharp as the others, which would not bother me except that the b/g is quite sharp. There is also what appears to be a shadow of the main leaf which continues to the b/g, but becomes brighter there, and looks just a bit odd. Overall, I think it should be just a bit brighter also.

Oddly enough, the real background is the space between the wood. Would be nice if I didn't have to notice this by chance.

But I like this shot as is!!!
