it really makes a difference, i have a panning monopod from them and i adore it.

I think the level stays on the straight up until you are a degree off, at least that's what it seems to me. The manual says the camera has the capability of correcting 1-2 degrees of lean, but the one time I tried it, I couldn't see much difference (didn't use a tripod and I'm not the steadiest person in the world). You might try it.

I like the shot, and really like the b&w conversion.
