know the feeling... are you going to have contact info on the back?

here is mine

FYI if you have the dark theme set, this is a transparent gif, looks better on white if you want to switch
Printed it on white stock, but saving up to get it on clear plastic.

Boily, I like the look of your card, But, I'm not particularly found of the way you have photography spelled. You may also want to consider using a camera and lens without any brand names on them (as some people may be prejudiced towards one brand or another).

Both cards arent bad designs. Im not sure about the camera angle. Perhaps making the camera a bit larger and square and only half visible. You need the contact info -- your name, address, fax, and phone number.
Jeff you have one typo. Nice card design but E-MAII should be E-MAIL. No address?

The first card is in French, I guess. I like it but would try to box the name with the word Photographie making it less prominent and more ordered.
In Jeff's card i can't understand the watermark 850. Is it important? Also: there're too many font sizes. Less font sizes would make the design better.
Both are nice to see.

Now, I do feel dumb. I hate to admit that I studied French (or rather took classes - lol) many years ago, although I sure wouldn't be able to speak or read it now, and never did really get the hang of it back then. :-)

So, I thought the spelling was just to emphasize that the Photographer's name rhymes with Photography (if it does), versus it being written in French. LOL

Don't feel dumb Jim. It's easier if you talk Spanish.

Dont worry JimC none of us are particularly fond of the way the french spell their words.

i think both designs are pretty good.

as noted, they are lacking contact information, which really needs to be on there.

also, i agree about making the camera in Boily's design brandless.

When you advertsize that your a photographer, you are appealing to non-photographers. The target audience wants to know that you have real professional equipment. And they ARE impressed by the Canon name. (Mind you, I own a Nikon )

So, whereas photographers couldn't care less, the target audience will be impressed.
