Default How about some bleeders....

Bleeding hearts, a pretty, soft and dainty flowers, growing on a bush that can be trained into a vine. No perceptible fragrance.....

Eddie, those are beautiful! I also have some at my home, but a different variety. As soon as my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35 arrives, I'll be sure to add to this thread.

Could you give us a short summary of the settings? (How you achieved the dark background, flash or not, exif data?)

Regards,
Mark

Your first shot I felt needed something. Your second shot I felt it needed it as well. Your third shot supplied that something. That is a sweet one. My only complaint about the third one is -- Id like to see a bit more stem below the last red flower, thus the red flower wouldnt be chopped off like it is. Its a landscape proportion and with the stem it would make it vertical which is what I feel it should be.

I prefer the last one. Is the depth of field a little narrow perhaps ?

How do you get the nice smooth black background ?

Hi Eddie,

Although my FZ35 has now arrived, in the meantime the flowers have departed (wilted). I'll try to post some pics when there is a new bunch.

Cheers,
Mark
