Default Walkway

I shot this, early yesterday morning, and gave it a fair bit of Topaz Adjust treatment. It may a little over the top, but I kinda found myself liking it. Anyways, I wanted to share.

The eye is drawn to the bridge, and is then disappointed because its out of focus...

While it's not possible to actually restore the focus, here's at least an idea of what I'm talking about.

It would also look better if the bridge was level.

All in all however, a good idea

Thanks Dave.

It was my intention to leave the bridge out of focus, because it (to me) led to a degree of mystery. And that was one of the elements (outside of a sense of coldness) that I had aimed to have - at least somewhat - interpreted.

But the bridge being off-kilter is definitely a no-no, and I don't know why I didn't catch that. Thanks for looking, and replying. I appreciate it.

Do you have landscape format shots of the scene? At first glance, since the walkway pretty much fills the photo, I feel it doesn't lead into the unknown but is simply a shot of the walkway and it feels a bit cramped for space. As well, the brighter rocks in the foreground keep pulling my eye there instead of sending me along the walk. A wider shot with more background water and bridge may pull my focus out further.

I'd leave it out of focus but it definitely needs to be level.

It looks like a part of a larger picture. Whats the subject? Other problems too as has already been stated would relegate it to the bin.
