Default An eye of gold.....

Really a tuff one to get, the golds are subtle and really give no good contrast.

It's actually a great shot, but for me perhaps not in the way that you might think. That is, to me it is more of a theoretical endeavor to explore lighting & the limits of the camera (particularly to render close up fine detail).

Thanks, yes, I believe I know what you mean. I love to explore how lighting impacts the subject, it truly is amazing how its effects can radically change the scope and texture of a composition by merely moving a lights influence by mere millimeters....
