Default First Photos

Hello, I just got my camera the other day and I took some photos of my cousin's Saltwater fish. Let me know what you think, I am very new to photography and would really appreciate any help and criticism good and bad.

Any Help would be great, these were a few of my first photos, the only ones which I thought look ok at all.

I like the first one but the second one looks a bit dark to me - I'd expect much stronger lighting on a reef tank. The histogram certainly doesn't cover the full range like I'd expect. Nicely framed though.

most aquatic places you cant use flash and you also have to put your lens virtuallty on the glass causing some darkness the second shot is good when tweaked a little ... more or less every photo is now tweaked in some way
