Default The Potting Bench.....

Out in my garden today.....a lot to look at, or too much?

Missing one thing! The Gardener!! Lovely shot though! I would add a few more pots in the window still small ones of course.

It is to me just a snapshot. Perhaps you could add some interest by giving it an HDR effect.

I think there's too much uninteresting stuff at the sides so I'd do a portrait crop. At Bynx's suggestion, here it is cropped with a quite strong high contrast/saturation pseudoHDR treatment and a more gentle version, both of which bring out some of the nice foreground foliage textures but you do lose some of that 'lazy day in the garden mood':

This is way off from your original, but I find it less complicated.

Both Martin and Bynx have provided much more pleasing alternatives. Like them both.

They are all great plays.. wall hangers too! I would add your self in it with a garden hat and dressed in white or a side shot to this one of the gardener in that dress bending over tending to the garden.. or in a High back rocker taking a break with a glass of lemon aide and the picture at his/her side I think that would be lovely shot hat hanging on his knee or back of chair for her with her hair all wrapped up in a bun lightly falling about with a gentle breeze.

"Morning/Evening Sun"
I thought the image could show the scenery in the early morning with the first golden sunrays here and there, everything is still a lil' wet from the dew... OR these could be the last few minutes of sunlight before sundown on a late summer day. You decide. Image edited to fit personal taste and to go for that special effect. Might be a bit too colorful and saturated, but I like the overall feeling.

Thanks for sharing the image, I'd probably go for a wider shot and try for a golden rule crop with the table being the main object

Kind regards,
Th.

My goodness Bynx, I suppose when someone offers you a vanilla ice cream, you remark, "You only have vanilla......."

Sometimes a snapshot is just that, a simple presentation, you don't need to enhance the flavor to enjoy its flavor, do you?
