Default My Summer Cottage (Kesämökki)

Hi all!

I live in a place surrounded by thick green forest, lots of dynamic range for sure. That being said, so I can always upload presentable "forest pictures", what an I do to do better. I am really green (new) to DSLR and post-processing. ISO 200, photo 1: TIFF, Photo 2: JPEG. It is interesting that the the RAW shows up lighter than JPEG, I tried darkening the TIFF on the left to look like the JPEG on the right. Any preference? BTW I have had my Finnish wife and son stand over my shoulder to decide on the darkness of how the cabin really looks like. Hope you like these. Any advice is always appreciated.
