Default Colours of a Buddhist Temple

Hello all

I went to Thailand recently for a few weeks. It was my first visit there. I found the people and culture very interesting, including all the Buddhist sites.

Here is one temple near where I was staying (Karon Beach, Phuket) - which I am sharing, as it shows the level of detail and amazing colours that these buildings have.

What do you think of the photo - is it interesting to you?

Paul

It's beautiful indeed. You could easily clone that modern building to the right and the pick would be perfect.

Very intersting detail on the structure. Colors look a bit oversaturated (alomost artificial) on my monitor. I agree with Ordo re. cloning out the mordern building (you could also try cropping it out).

Hi Ordo

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I should take some time to clone out that modern building. I hadn't noticed it (as so distracting before) - but yes, I see your point.

Cheers.

Thanks Jelpee

I also appreciate your post. Again, as I look back on it - it is somewhat 'over saturated', I agree - the flowers really couldn't have been quite that bright (but they were rather colourful). The roof was very bright red, so I'll see if I can readjust.

:-)
