There are members who ocassionally upload videos, some of them really excellent, like those from Illuminati (Jason in Japan). Check the Travel forum. Youtube will compress the videos or limit the size, but other web sites like Vimeo, Megaupload, etc. will accept larger versions.

Yea, there is no reason not to share an occasional video in their respective forums. They are not really appropriate here since this is "photo-critiques" and besides that, i dont believe there are many with the ability to critique video.

as it is becoming more a prominent feature of today cameras.
i thought it would be a nice idea to view .... say a 30 second clip .... kinda like a review of what its capable of doing ( each camera model) under certain settings / conditions

not created in this thread, but somewhere else on the site
but i think the clips would have to be uploaded to a site that doesn't convert the format . but leaves it O-natural (native format) for us to view

this would greatly aide in choosing a camera for what you need to shoot

like a clip each from say a Go-pro cam and one from sony's Tx5
both are great for under water but only one of them can take a beating and live to tell about it
I know which one i would strap to my helmet .

if you are just wanting to compare models, then posting videos from the camera in its respective forum (ala Sony, Panasonic, etc) would be appropriate.
