Default Bee Buz buz buzzing

Hi Chums,
Took this pic and done a vignete and upped the stauration a bit. I'm liking it.
Wondering what yous tink please? is it to busy and needing the background more blurred out and toned down? or something.

yes, for my taste, it is too busy. everything blends in, even the bee. I'm not sure about the vignette either. It seems a bit too harsh and closed in. Also, the black background is a bit distracting.

As far as the composition, we are looking at the bee's ass... a better shot of the bee would be nicer, but of course not always possible.

I'm not sure if it is in focus due to the small photo.

You're on your way though!

Hi Eric,
Thank you for the comments. Sounds like I got the whole thing wrong on this one. Bit concerned that I like it though. I got no taste. The learning curve will be long me thinks.
I like the vignette, The Bees arse is a nice one but I should have waited for it to turn around.
Cheers Eric.

Regards Mark

yea, i have to agree that its a bit cliche for those of us that look at photos everyday. but you are being creative which will serve you very well in the future.

i would also rather see more than the bees backside as well.

Hi Hards80,
Thank you for the comments. Yea I'm trying to be creative, gues I need to look more at what I'm doing. This is another that I took at the time, me thinks this one is better althogh I like the feel from the first one, it maybee the colours and softness that is what I like rather than what the pic is of.
Thank you.
Regards Mark

I prefer this one to the first one. Even though you still cant see the bees face, you see more of it, and you see it trying hard to get the nectar. However, i find that like the first one, the background is rather distracting and im not too sure whether the bee is in focus (but that could just be me). If it weren't for that, its quite nice...

Hi Tizianohc,
Thank you for your comments. I've just blown the background out a bit more and focused on the Bee, I like this more.
Thank you.

I like the second picture you posted. Although I would go with a thinner black border. The first one isn't bad I just don't like the angle of the bee. I will give you props for standing around and taking pictures of the bee, I would have been long gone.

Hi SwushTough,
Thank you. I've taken that on board. Had a few comments on the thick black borders so ill be going a bit thinner now thank you. I have to confess there were hundeds of Bees about that day and I took quite a few pics. Big thanks for everyones comments it gives me something to think about and work on. I,m going to try another bee pic but will have a nose at lots of others first. I realise that bee bums are a no no.
Thank you. regards Mark.
