Default Fontana Raceway

went to the raceway to practice something is bothering me and i cant put my finger on what it is exactly. might be the very blurred car in the background its catching my eye. what do you think does the blurred car add to it or distract

it distracts. In fact the large amount of space above your subject is a bit of a distraction but the other car is the worst of it. Try to get your subject a bit up in the frame so it dominates rather than being in the bottom half of the photo. Your pan was good you just need your subject dominating the frame rather than the background.

Hi Diaxio,
I would be over the moon if i could pan like that. I really like the pic but agree that the blured car in the background is distracting. I feel it would be much better removed.
I have used the clone tool to take it out, it was reall easy. Also done like a painting type effect hope you dont mind but I really like the pic and had a play around with effects on it. I like it in a more panoramic type format.
I know nothing though so dont listen to me.
Love it.

Yep agree the other car was distracting. When looking at a photo the eye will naturally go to the largest amount of contrast which in this case were the lines of the blurred car, the clone worked well.
