pic 1: if the foreground duck was not there, itd be a great photo.

pic 2: background is way to distracting, the duck blends in too much, but i like the PP.

pic 3: why?

Hi Eddie,
For me in pic 1 the duck in the front is in the way of a nice pic.

Pic 2 the background of the Duck is a bit distracting, Like what you have done with the pic. Wonder if the whole reflection was there it would be nicer.I don't know. I've cropped it, darkened the background and played about with the settings.

Pic 3, I like it but find the background distracting and for me the wood needs a more contrasty hard feel. I've had a go but think it could be better with more moody processing but I'm not good enough with the progams to get it how i see it in my head.
I know nothing though.

The point of the ducks colors is so it will blend in and not stick out like a sore thumb. You have captured that nicely. Incredible focus and clarity on your subject. I just wish there was a bit more breathing area around the duck. It just feels cramped.

OOp's Sorry Chums, My wife just came in and burst out laughing, I asked what Bynx was saying about the colour aparently it looks crazy fake. Like a lot of us I have very low red green colour deficiencey. It looks lightly tonned to me. sorry about that, ignore it please.
