Default Sleeping Beauty....

Once upon a time, I was the belle of the flower bed.....the sun would shine its light on me, so all could enjoy my beauty. Now, well, I'm fading, the sun is harsh upon my petals....instead of standing erect, on display for all to see, now, I must rest, holding on to what is left....

Pretty funny and a nice setup Eddie. You are getting quite good at your flower taking. Its been a pleasure to watch your growth.

I like it. Shows the flower, the bud it came from and the stock they grew from. And no other distractions. Maybe a bit of bounce fill from below. Like a piece of white paper bouncing up some soft light.

The top is a very well piece of significant thought in color and prose... Love the prop rocks stacked with a piece of drift wood resting upon as your flower rests beside using the long rock as if it was a arm there to rest upon.... Tom Dooley sure looks as if he could use a bit of sunshine.... Great shots and prose.....
