3 and 5 are similar to 1 except they have better range. There is more detail than 1 and more pop for that 3D look. I guess its the soft look of 1 that you guys like.

For the subject in hand 1 is the most applicable and pleasing to the eye.

the reason i liked #1 is in that photograph she actually looks real.

Interesting reading you guys , opinions do change from people to people , in general many just prefer leaving portraits more natural without too many hard PP , HDR style.
Many say they like number 1 , hope they mean number 1 and not the original because that's my favorite , just tweaking the saturation.
