Wow Neil, Very nice! I've never seen a similar photo to compare!

The stag is very impressive, so is the moon. I expect you must have been a long way away from the stag, with the moon that size.

I take it, the stag is a statue... and it's on a base (rather than a rocky outcrop?)

If the fore-legs of the stag would have been just a bit lower (and the very bottom of the moon) - that might have given even more of an effect / feeling the stag is real...

Lovely exposure too!

I'm interested to know some more details about the photo. Can you please answer the questions below?

What equipment and settings? (Camera, lens, ISO, aperture, shutter speed)?

Looks like an silhouette of a stag superimposed on a photo of the moon.... nicely done
