Default Tahquamenon Falls at Dust

Does this work for you guys? For some reason I find it a little bit bland. Also how dark is it on your monitors? Is it too dark?

Here's my second attempt, I'm quite pleased with this version.

No....not too dark, but, I think it would fair better with a crop off the top. No, make that off the bottom....

Its 3 shot HDR to get the mist to show. Settings were F22, 79mm, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8.

It does look pretty dull and dark. How about this? Seeing this now it looks blurry. This is caused by site interference when posting.

Yea, that looks nicer. I think I'll take this one back to the drawing board. I'll repost when I come up with something.

i love your second attempt. can it be more panoramic? i am not a big fan of square photos. I like the cropping of the top and bottom though.

Thank you, I feel I'm finally starting to get a bit of progression in my phtog skills.. as far as the image goes, there isnt much of a crop on the second attempt. I just rotated the image a touch to get things nice and level and took the biggest crop inside the rotated image. I'd have to crop off some of the top and bottom to get a panoramic feeling.

Your second version is much better. Spot on in fact. I see where my post got blurry from site interference. What I based my cc on was the illuminated branch on the left. It should be really bright without getting the highlights blown. Good job.
