I'm not really sure what you are trying to convey, but the strong color cast caused by using daylight white balance with artificial light, doesn't help. You should probably try a less cluttered background. If you cropped it to show the lower left with the clock, the smokes and the glass, it would have a clearer message.

yea, i agree. the color cast totally throws it off.

i would keep the roses, smokes, the scotch, and maybe the alarm clock simplify the arrangement, and either fix the color balance or go black and white with it.

This is the first time I'm working on B&W with suggestions from Hards80. Dunno...if it creates the right mood.

Looks way too dark on my home pc, which is calibrated, but not bad on my laptop.

honestly I like the first one........looks like the beginning of a hard luck
movie about a broken hearted woman who is contemplating drastic measures.............more chocolate!
