Default Yellow Rose

I'd value some opinions on this one, an attempt by at some kind of Art, very little pp done, some unsharp mask and the little bit of text and that was about it.

Taken with an a200 using a Tamron 70-300mm.

The photo is nice, but I would've manually focused the flower in the center so it would appear more sharp in the middle and to get the soft petals on the outside. With a little more work, it can be used as a post card.

overall i like it.

but i agree that i would like to see the center sharp. so move focus to the center, and if you want more of the petals in the front in focus too, you can stop down (choose a smaller aperture which is a larger f-stop)

Love the colour and composition, just sort the focus as mentioned and you are sorted.

I agree on the focus, but think it could be improved as is, if you moved the text to the top, where the focus is softer. As a general rule, I try to keep text from covering the more detailed parts of photos.
