Thank you Marawder you actually explained it quite well. Sometimes I find a photo in itself lacks something that makes it a fantastic photo. But with the use of plugins like Topaz or Nik, etc. a so so photo can become a striking work of art. I wont hesitate to go this route if I feel the photo is just not up to snuff.

Thanks again every one for the commentary. I think I am realizing what you mean Binx, That is good to know. I am immersed in the Knowledge center section at the moment and am learning tons of stuff! The site is well thought out and very informative. I now know the difference between ISO and f/stop. Hurray (wagging my tail in frenzied excitement).
