I wanted the word to kind of fade in and out mostly like it is. In retrospect I would have maybe made the first 't' in the word more in focus but I'm happy with the end of it.

Yes, I see what you mean. That is a great point. The cross is hanging on a wall and looking back I kind of let that dictate to me what angle to shoot it at. Had it been on a table I might have shot from a different angle. To me I feel like this is the best critique so far that I feel I will take away from this lesson in a practical sense... just thinking a little more out of the box about angle. Thanks!

"proud it's not easily angered does not delight the truth always" is what I see, is that what you are trying to get? I have not seen this type of photography before, but I find myself actually looking for more words. The shape of the stone is cool...

Was really focusing on the word truth. It's much larger than the other words. I feel like the size helps it stick out more compared to the other words that are in focus. In fact when one is looking at the cross in real life the large words stick out and grab the eye more than the small words. I'm just carrying that same concept of the artist that made it down to that one word.

I sure hope you do not do that already I would hate to have some one bump into me with out their glasses... they may never know the truth of just whom they are bumping into!

I love the shot but did you get any others as well? I seen it and started to think of the things they sell down in Branson Missouri at the crafter malls... a lot of religious things that for sure.... this would go right along with them...

Yeah I took a bunch of different pics but this was really the only one that had the focus isolated in the spot where I wanted it. What other kind of pic of it did you want to see?
